Ferns revisited

Back in 2010 I rescued some ferns from the bin.

The papers made using these fronds was very popular and sold quite quickly. Over the last few years I have periodically made more sheets and even a manual. Getting ready for BABE I thought I would make some more and package them differently....let's see if these sell.........

 also added some recycled text

After finishing a few projects ( new issues of rose and rowan manuals) tidied up studio area (1st since late Dec!!) folded some papers/card stock/just playing around.

 Missed putting up a few of my latest experiments........
picked up some wild hops to see if I could use them in some papers........bit of a bugger to process

                                          When I cooked them the little nugget of hop stuff 

                                                      came away from each leaflet....

                                      nearly chucked them away but a friend kindly stopped

                                         me and she picked out all the annoying little bits......

Still not as successful as I would have liked...

the leaflets did not like being made into inclusions...

so had to blend them and use gampi fibres to hold the bits down.

Then I bleached the little buggers and that seem to help .....
